# Container logging Available log levels are, in order of least severity (logs most information) to the highest severity: - `DEBUG` - `INFO` - `WARNING` - `ERROR` - `CRITICAL` Default log level By default, the AIDR container log level is set to `INFO`. ## Set log level To set the log level in a AIDR container, set the environment variable. ``` HL_LLM_PROXY_LOG_LEVEL= ``` **Example** ``` HL_LLM_PROXY_LOG_LEVEL=DEBUG ``` ## Sample logs for each level Useful information: - These examples represent only the container logs; they do not represent the API responses sent back to the client application. Examples of those responses can be seen in the Developer Portal (requires a login). - This means that in cases where there are no logs produced, the relevant detection information or error message is still available to the client application in the API response. - The container logs are produced as JSON lines. Since the examples here are multiple lines, the individual JSONs are not formatted.
